Hoped my day would shuffle itself like a pack of cheap playing cards. It didn’t, I had to deal them out myself. And then subsequently re-deal them as my hand wasn’t favourable.
I settled on what the time lord Kronos agreed would be realistic. What does he know? He plays with time all day long. In truth I suspect he is moonlighting, father time is actually cooking the books dealing in lost weekends and the promise of getting away from it all. Irony being the “it all” we want to get away from, includes ourselves.
Anyway I kept my nerve, didn’t fold and have frozen the game till a passage of time has run through my lungs and I am back at the same place I was pre weekend. Looking forward to Saturday.
